Actively pursuing sustainability for Verve Group SE

It is undeniable that each of us must do their part to create a more sustainable world. Therefore, Verve Group SE is conducting a comprehensive analysis on a regular basis pertaining to the sustainability efforts of the Group.  Since our initial analysis during which we developed clear guidelines for the actions to be undertaken as well as the five sustainability priorities for the group. We have constantly developed these priorities further in light of their importance for our business and sector.

“While facing a challenging environment, we continued to pursue our sustainability agenda, an integral part of our business philosophy. Our joint effort over the past years show that significant progress has been made in implementing our sustainability agenda and we are underlining our commitment to sustainability to create long-term value.”

Our Sustainability Priorities

Creating a Meaningful and Innovative Product Portfolio

We prioritize the development of innovative products aimed at enhancing processes and solving challenges for our customers with our mission "Let's make media better.". Notably, our investments in contextual targeting and direct supply underscore our dedication to delivering sustainable solutions that effectively address our customers' needs.

Providing Data Privacy and Security

Operating globally as a digital company working with customer data, ensuring data privacy for our clients through data protection and IT security is highly important for Verve Group SE. Additionally, compliance with the relevant data protection regulations such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA or local legislation must be ensured at all times.

Being Great Team and an Inspiring Workplace

Having a committed and diverse work force is essential for Verve Group SE to ensure the successful operation of the Company. Talent retention, employee satisfaction and well-being and a cultural fit in a global workforce are the main focus areas for Verve Group in terms of its employees.

Working towards a Greener Future

Taking responsibility for the world we live in must be a priority for any company; climate change is a global challenge. Verve Group’s carbon footprint is mostly composed of high energy usage, generated especially by the use of our products as well as the infrastructure supporting the ad-tech platform.

Ensuring Business Ethics and Compliance

Delivering high quality products to our customers and therefore generating profit and creating value for our stakeholders can only be achieved by operating with good business ethics and in compliance with all applicable laws. This means acting with responsible corporate management, transparent reporting and communication and an alignment between stakeholders, management and the board.

Our ESG Operating Model

Continuously managing sustainability risks needs to be part of Verve’s
sustainability activities to achieve long-term sustainable growth. As
part of Verve Group’s overall Risk, Compliance, and Internal Control Framework (RCIC Framework), Verve has adopted an environmental, social and governance operating model which has been created to support the achievement of sustainability targets that favorably impact
the environment, social well-being, and transparency in corporate
governance. It is used to identify risk and opportunities to allow for
targeted allocation of resources to projects that contribute to sustainable business practices in areas such as stewardship of society, duty towards employees, fairness for customers, responsibility for the community and care for the environment. Verve Group firmly believes
that sustainability should be considered in our business activities to
protect Verve’s assets, ensure long-term growth and enhance shareholder value.

Our Sustainability Structure

Sustainability at Verve Group is overseen by the Board of Directors (Sustainability Board). Sustainability is discussed during board meetings and the Board of Directors is responsible for reviewing and approving the Sustainability Report. The Board of Directors is informed by the C-Level about the status and latest developments in the area of
sustainability. The C-level heads the Group's Sustainability Committee, which also consists of management representatives from
the relevant departments, the topic owners, and the Sustainability
Coordinator. The topic owners work together with their teams in
working groups and identify and execute projects that improve sustainable business practices, which are then discussed and reported
/ reviewed during Sustainability Committee meetings.
